Situated in a quiet area in both Toms River and Waretown, easily accessible by all the major roadways, Ocean County Memorial Park has been offering a peaceful and beautiful environment for the memorialization of loved ones for more than 60 years. Insuring the future is a Preservation & Maintenance/Building Fund currently in excess of 7 million dollars and growing with each property acquired.
Encompassing 130 acres of beautifully wooded and landscaped property, Ocean County Memorial Park has been dedicated to serving the communities of all of Ocean County by offering a complete service facility for lasting and loving memorialization. This nonprofit Memorial Park has the only crematory in Ocean County and offers an array of options for meaningful, dignified and permanent placement of cremated remains. The Park is the largest developer of Mausoleums in the area, with 23 buildings completed and currently 2 in the planning stage. With one of the largest stained glass windows in the area, beautifying one of our 3 Main Chapels, available at no cost to our families for committal and memorial services. Our renowned "Avenue of Flags" entering the Park is one of the honors bestowed upon the veterans and patriotic Americans that are interred here at Ocean County Memorial Park. Beautifully manicured Memorial Gardens enhanced with artistic features and canopied by a variety of majestic trees offer great solace for those preferring ground burial.
In addition to the beauty of the Park, we offer many special memorial tributes such as, programs for the dedication of memorial benches, trees, stained glass and flags. Along with these tributes we allow families to celebrate their loved ones lives and memories with memorial services on special holidays such as Easter, Christmas, Veterans Day, and Memorial Day.
Staffed by conscientious and caring people, Ocean County Memorial Park also believes in the needs of the surviving family members and friends by ensuring that each visit to the park is soothing and peaceful, easing the pain of the loss of a loved one and allowing fond memories to replace ones of grief and sorrow.
